Read All About It!

The Norton Media Center strives to provide a safe and inviting environment that encourages the entire school community to access materials in a variety of formats for knowledge and enjoyment.

The media center includes resources which support Gwinnett County's AKS and the Georgia Performance Standards, as well as the Common Core Standards and is a place where everyone is welcome.

A few of the media center’s goals are to promote students' interest in reading and learning, teach students strategies needed to access information, and develop student’s abilities to use information effectively.

BRANCH OUT!

School media centers in Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) are full of great resources for students, and access to even more resources is on the way! A new partnership between GCPS and the Gwinnett County Public Library (GCPL) will help students Branch Out! academically.
Students who opt in to the Branch Out! program will have full access to the print and digital resources of the county library system at any one of 15 branches around Gwinnett and online.
Families can register for the new program  by completing a permission form or by opting in during GCPS online registration. Once registered accounts are activated and students will be able to use their GCPS student ID number and a PIN for access to the library system’s print collection, research materials, digital resources, audio books, and more!
